I have the same problem with Insignia after upgrade from 4.2 to 4.3. Today I was also in service, to check handsfree system And there were no problems, so I hope Sony or Google will solve this issue ASAP as in Latvia also is illegal to use mobile while driving.

I rolled back to 4.2.2 at the weekend and... Everything works fine..it transferred phonebook and call lists to my navi800 and the handsfree is working 100%

SO FIX THE 4.3 UPDATE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same problem:

Opel Astra model 2011 and Z1. After upgraded to 4.3, can't get car controls to work, can't get agenda and call list anymore in the car system (CD500). Options would be downgrade back to 4.2 or a fix by Sony in the next release asap (hopefully in a new 4.3 release version, not waiting for 4.4).

SONY, PLEASE REPLY with a professional answer!

I have the same problem in my Opel Insignia 2012.

I actually had a Xperia Z and it connected to the car, but there was no controls working and no phonebook or calls listed.

every other phone i tryid (Xperia S, HTC and Nokia with Windows OS, worked fine.

I then thought that it was a problem of that specific phone and went and bought an Xperia Z1 instead.

It worked just fine and i was very happy Slightly_smiling_Face

Then i upgraded it to Android 4,3 and again the phonebook an calls didnt apear!!!.

I am not sure if this is a Sony problem or an Android problem, but my guess is Sony cause i am pretty sure that if it had been an android problem causing ALL phones running 4,3 not to work, it would have been fixed by now.

Come on Sony pleace communicate with yor customers and give us some feedback on this... its no god just to pass on the promblem. If you were to say that yes... the problem is a Sony problem and we are working on a fix... then it would be OK for me.

Sony is having a lot of bluetooth problems and i even got problem with one Sony device working with other sony devices (XperiaZ to headset sbh50) sbh50 even cause my vaio pro 13" to bluescreen every time i pair them!!!!.

I am a VERY big Sony fan and all my devices at home are sony (2x PS3, 1xPSP, Television, 1x Vaio computer, transiever, camera Nex 6, 4 deferent Xperia phones Arc, S, Z, and Z1... and a Tablet Z)

I am still a Sony fan cause i love you design and function and that all my devices are the same vendor, but things like this are really making me think twice and there are a lot of other very nice devices out there....

When will Sony fix this bug having the same issue with Vauxhall Meriva Bluetooth connection since software update? What is the easiest way to roll back to previous firmware?
