Hi folks,

this problem is also given with the Opel Navi 900.

SW Version 4.3 14.1.A.1.142 only connect the audio function of the Handsfree Car Kit. No Request for the Phonebook came up.

SW Version 4.2.2 14.1.G.2.257 connect the Handsfree Car Kit with the full functionality. Request for the Phonebook was shown within 10 seconds.

This Problem also affects the Bluetooth Handsfree Car Kit of other Manufacturers (e. g. Mercedes) - see other Posts in this Forum!

@ SONY:

Please fix this BUG or offer the possibility to switch back to older Versions (which works) by PC Companion.

The developers of SW should take care to keep the established functions of previous Versions running.

It´s not productive to make the Carmanufacturer responsible for changes in the SW of the Smartphone. The Handsfree Car Kits are using the established Bluetooth-Standard.

Please publish a reply and/or inform your customers.

Hello,

I've upgraded last night to KitKat version 14.3.A.0.681 (no rooted phone)

Since then, the car kit controls started to work again and the addressbook loaded just fine.

Seems that the BT connection is solved, at least for me (Opel Astra Sports Tourer 2011).

Hi DeReSe, did you have the car kit controls problem on 4.3 (.290 or .136)? As I am thinking of upgrading to 4.4 to see if my handsfree will work..

Yes, I did had when I've upgraded from 4.2 to 4.3 (no controls and no addressbook). Upgraded from 4.3 to 4.4 and it's working again.

That's cool.. Was it an ota upgrade or by PC companion or did you flash an ftf with flashtool?
