Z5 Premium not turning on

My Xperia Z5 Premium won't turn on.

I've pressed and held the power button. Didn't work. The hard reset is not working. I tried pressing the off button near the SIM and tried turning it on again. Didn't work.

Also when i hook it onto the charger the notification light doesn't light up. PC Companion isn't recognizing it either.

Please help!

Hi there, how much did it cost you to get it repaired?

The trick helped me to turn it on.. Phone still had 39% of battery.. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Shall I contact Sony support ?

I facing the same problem as well. Yesterday i tried to update my sony communication software (which they have requested us for update).During the update, the battery still have 60++% and it cant be turn on just after 10 mins i came back from shower. I have tried all the solution as mentioned above and they are not working at all. i charged my phone overnight and it still cannot be on this morning.

I love this phone and I am quite dissappointing. Did you guys have any idea what causes this? The phone working fine before this.

my z5 had same issue was in use closed screen went to turn on 5 mins later and no response from any inputs or LED signal light

used Jakes tip power and volume + button for 15 seconds got a vibration plugged in charger straight after and screen came on.

I had a similar issue left phone on charge several hours and not turning on or charge light showing. Removed memory card and simple card. Then held power button and and it woke up with 100% battery. Then popped the 2 cards in and running fine now

Hi Alexdon,

i carried out that process ; hold power and volume for 15 seconds and plug into charger and it worked.

My Z5 was previously unresponsive to the power button or the charge indication light.

All working fine again now! Thanks a lot! Slightly_smiling_Face
