SDHC means up to 32GB.SDXC means over 32,so you can safely go for 64/128.

What is the max read/write speed for an SD card?

It depends, the class of a microSD card tells the minimum write speed that it has.

When I choose the class 10

Example:

Sandisk Micro SDXC 64GB Class 10 Extreme Plus

Max

read: 80MB/s

write 50MB/s

Is the phone capable of reading and writing at these speeds?

It says up to,this card is UHS I.So it should reach somewhere around 30-35 maybe more.I have a class 10 and when I benchmarked it,the write speed was somewhere around 15-16 if I remember.
