Sonic Stage 3.3 Problem

hi recently updated to sonic stage 3.3

also done the firmware upgrade

but get a message wen loading my vaio to the pc the message says

the connected atrac audio device cannot be used with the currently installed sonic stage

to use with current sonic stage you must delete all tracks in the atrac audio device or initialise the hard disc of the atrac audio device.

is there n y way to get round the problem wiv out deleting all the tracks

Nope! when you delete your tracks from the player they get transferred back to your player automatically & then when you reset the player it will work. as it says in the message really. good old DRM:smileygrin: lol

Hi Ormie, just re read my last reply and sorry it didnt make sense, when you format your VP as soon as you plug it back into your computer the tracks on the player get transferred back to your PC, so you wont loose anything. SS 3.3 is much faster when transferring too so getting your music back on to the VP wont take too long.

so do i need to go on format hdd on the pocket

and that will solve the problem

Not sure if this applicable but the same thing happened to me, turns out I was installing the version from the wrong country, if you are in Europe make sure you go to connect.com and, in the top right corner it should tell you to install the European version, once I did that worked with no trouble.
