It's such an easy and relatively inexpensive thing to sort out, and it frequently makes the difference between having a satisfied user who will buy again or a dissatified user who will never buy again.

I agree Rob, it's not that hard to fix that for Sony.

The Screenpanel with the VAIO logo is metallic of the s series. The problem lies with the palm rests. My old Vaio, a purple one showed two dark spots of disappeared paint at the places where my handpalm rests.
So yeah, I agree with Rob on this one there has been issues with Sony being greedy on the paint job.
I've haven't developed these spots on my S series though but then again I haven't used it THAT long anyway.
