That must cost a pretty penny.

And there's a good chance that the silver paint wears off (like many of the A series owners have reported) after a couple of months anyway . . . .

It's to be hoped that they've added a few more microns of paint to it. A little thing like that can either make the computer something to be proud of or something that you begin to hate . . . .

And since the Vaio brand is sold on the basis of it's style & function then peoples expectations are naturally high.

ROFL Why is it that you two (Kee-Lo and Rob) always find fault with VAIO's.

LOL You have a point though...:smileylaugh:

I was thinking of getting one just to plug into my router so that I could use it as a media server and backup computer. It's tiny enough to just put under the router and leave switched on 24-7 without a display etc. I would've liked the option of a larger HD but I would guess that replacing the one that's in wouldnt be too much of a problem & I can always plug in a couple of the firewire 160G drives that I've got if I need to.

I want it as an entry to Mac computing really, so I can actually afford the software to go alongside it.

Still, it's just a tought, probably won't bother.

James: because it's helping the people in Japan understand the problems with VAIO.
