I have just bought a Vaio FE11-H and love it. I reformatted it to 25GB and 75GB drives and made the recovery DVD's instead of having the partition Sony put on.
However my enjoyment is being spoilt by 'blockiness' of my avi and mpeg videos. It is not so obvious on purchased DVD's but all dark areas are patchwork like in greens and blues and not the solid balck I expected from the X-Black ? Anyone got any ideas what I may have done to cause this or if they have seen something similar. Many thanks for any info or suggestions.
