Tomorrow is the big the day. I'm gonna order my new Vaio: the A115S or A115Z. I would like to order the A115Z because it's based on the Dothan core, but I saw this model this afternoon in the store... oh my, what a screen! Is has such a weird shape with that 15,4" screen.
Strange thing is that the A115S (which is an 'older' model with a 15" screen) is more expensive than the A115Z here in Belgium. 
Otherwise, I would buy the A115S immediately, because I don't think I need that 15,4" screen. But now I'm doubting. If I buy the A115S I pay more for less (it doesn't have a Dothan based processor and it has a 15" screen). If I buy the A115Z, I don't know if that's the right one for me.
Does anyone of you have such a 15,4" screen? How is it working with? Doesn't it feel strange if you were used to have a 15" or 17" screen with 'normal' resolutions like 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768?
I need to make a decission very quick, so thanks for your advice in advance! 
No, you're both talking 'bout the right thing and I share your opinion. I guess I'll buy the A115S, but it's so weird that I will pay more for it. 
I've had my A115M for a day over a week now and am loving the 'odd' shaped screen lol. I too had a similar choice to yours, either the old core CPU and 4:3 screen or this model with the new core with 1280x800 resolution. I chose the latter mainly for the cpu and screen, besides there wasnt much else on offer for the budget that i had 😞
Having used the standard looking LCDs for some time, its refreshing but may seem somewhat of a novely, the x-black widescreen is impressive when watching wide aspect ratio movies. When looking at webpages however, I find that because of the reduced height of the screen that I have to scroll down more, but i can live with that
