My reader has lost its own authorisation

I have a PRS-350 which was all set up fine.  However it now have serious issues syncing to the point where i can barely upload or delete items.

Having been connected to a Sony Tech support based in the US he has informed me my account has lost its authorisation to the reader.  However being in the US he has no access to the UK database and guess what, here in the UK we don't have an online tech support service.

Who know's how i can re-authorise my reader?  I have downloaded the new software and its all up to date.  I have an account with Sony and the reader knows my email address which it is linked to, yet i now can't find anything online to help.

Any suggestions welcome as its becoming a useless piece of kit these days!

Did it just suddenly decide to do this, or have you had a corrupted download ?

I think what you must do is de-authorise the reader, then re-authorise it again from the start.  I think it's in the on-line manual, or use the Search facility here, there are a number of helpful posts on this subject.
