downloading books from computer on to PRS-T1

I have just brought some books from WHSmith and I have downloaded them on to the computer, but I cant get them on my ereader.

How do you download them on to the ereader??

You don't say if you have followed all the manual registering etc... process ?

Have you set up Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) on your PC?

Have you authorised your reader with your ADE ID using Sonys R4PC?
