for the last few months i've had a horrible issue with my sony phone.
it usually starts with getting a message saying "google play has stopped working" then after that, every other app goes mad and all i get is messages saying "x app has stopped working" every second.
i've taken the phone back to the store for repair and it seems fine for a month or so then it goes back to freaking out. i've tried repairing the softwere but it will always go mental within a month. i've tried restoring it to factory and it just does the same about a month later. im getting really sick of this because every time i need to repair or restore the phone, all the things on my phone gets wiped and because the phone becomes unresponsive, i cant transfere anything to the sd card.
no one else has this issue or can help me with it? i'm getting rather irritated having to deal with this problem and i dont have money for a new phone. god knows spending £150 on a phone then a further £20 a month should at least give me good support.
i should mention, the shop i brought it from kept "fixing" it but the issue kept coming back and now the phone is off warranty
still does it
seriously, can someone from sony actually message me and give?
i am getting really fed up with this problem and fed up with constantly being palmed off by customer support or your certified dealers doing the same. i know to a corperation the size of sony is too rich to care about me complaining how this phone cost me money i did not have. but if you guys are rich enough not to care then you must be rich enough to afford to fix it for me.
many reason why it crash..
1. too many runnning app.
2. files that affects other apps.
3. virus on sd card.
4. software problems.
5. overheat
try to erase unwanted files on your phone. go to file manager and you will see some folder that are not useful. but be careful on erasing important files. it was very risky erasing uwanted folder/files so do this at your own risk. next try to uninstall some app that are not necessary needed on your device. if problem remain, try to use Xperia Companion and make Software Repair ( it will erase all apps, files, photo, movie, etc.. on your device.) it will be your last option if this still remains.
Don't hold your breath on Sony contacting you with a solution. You will have to resolve it by other means. I had problems with my phone and sent my unlocked phone for repairs under warranty and received back a different locked phone. Sony argued that it was my responsibility to get it unlocked and the guy I spoke to hung up on me. I hope someone will provide you with information to resolve your issue. Good Luck.
i have tried all the above sugestions. it still does it. at this point im ready to invite a member of sony over to my flat and drop them out of the 19th floor. at this point i have done everything they have asked and checked everything and the useless pile of **bleep**e still does it.
