I'm sorry to hear this. 
I recommend that you try with more then one headset to see if you are still experiencing the same behavior. If you have, I'd recommend that you use a Sony original headset.
You can also reboot your device to safe mode to see if one of you downloaded apps is the cause of this behavior as they will be temporarily disabled in this mode.
