Cannot install/upgrade PlayMemories Home

Hi,

I tried to upgrade PlayMemories Home to recent version but unfortunately I always get message about failed MergeModule _x86.msi. I tried with downloader as well as with completely download installer. Please advise how can I continue using this useful tool.,

I’d like to pointed out that previous version(s) worked OK and there was no problems installing them.

Can I firstly ask if you have recently upgraded your pc to Windows 10?

Secondly, is it a Vaio or another brand?

I've been having trouble with PlayMemories since my non-Vaio upgraded to Windows 10.

After opening the program no window was visible to operate it.

I also had trouble trying to restore the program's default settings to see if that would help.

(I had to kill the process in task manager as it froze.)

I have just uninstalled it and reinstalled it from Here and it seems to be working fine.

Hi jumpsuit,

Thank you for replay. I'm still using Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit version like with previous PMH version. Anyway I tried your solution (although I already try it before) but result was the same - error at 51%.
