I have a Camcorder Model DCR-PC350E.
Lately I've sailed is a boat on the sea .
After a few minuets , the camcorder didn't recognise the cassette and stop recording.
I've receive an error message to clean the camcorder's head.
I've dryad the camcorder and now its fine !
everything backed to normal.
I think that some humidity got inside the camcorder ...
my question is :
will the camcorder be OK as I intend to travel again and I don't want to fail with my camcorder .
Thank you.
Hello ronenza
You may find this is a similar situation to spilling a cup of coffee over a keyboard - allowing the camera to dry out naturally (airing out the camera without trying to take it to pieces) may let you return to normal use. However, the down side is that you won't really know if it is OK until it goes wrong, if that makes sense
All I can advise you to do is try your camera out before you go travelling again. If you have let the camera dry out naturally, you have a good chance that it will be OK.
Thanks,
Simon
