Hey.
I've just copied some .mts files from HDR-CX305 camcorder to laptop, converted them to .mp4 and wanted to transfer them to a different PC using the same camcorder as a temporary storage device. Trying to copy these files back to camcorder, I get a monit "The disk is write-protected. Remove the write-protection". How can I get rid of it?
Thank You for help.
Hi
Looking into yor enquiry, I am afraid that this is a function you will be able to bypass. The USB support for this model is only to export content from the Handycam to your PC and the ability to transfer back is unsupported by this device which is why you get the message when you try to do so.
Due to this, it will mean that content would need to be transferred using another memory device.
More information on this is found on page 4 which shows a table of is USB functions.
Hope that clarifies your post.
Thank You. Good to know what is possible and what is not. This is what I wanted to know.
