why cant i get abdo flash player on my new sony viao

I have stupidly bought a sony viao with windows 8, it is causing me so many problems, one of which is, i cannot get abdo flash player. it says it is inbedded, but i cant find it, it cannot be downloaded. help please.

Adobe Flash Player is embedded into the operating system for Internet Explorer and Google Chrome so there is no need to manually install. If you are using a different browser then you may need a plug-in.

I don’t have any machines running Windows 8 but I believe that if the problem of Flash content not playing occurs when running the Metro version of Internet Explorer then you need to switch to the Desktop version.
