Even worst, today I lost 1-2 more millimeters, with no significant change from yesterday.
Now, I can't access at all the nav bar, even in gloves mode....
Hi, guys! I have the same annoying problem. After a software update from Sony (I think 3-4months ago?), my Sony z3 compact's digital home button started to somewhat hard to press. After few days, I noticed my notification drawer started to be the same (hard to pull out). And then after few days, my digital home button, along with the back button and recent apps button, can't be pressed anymore. I just use the glove mode to press those buttons, but I am still having a hard time to make them work since I have to press them a lot of times. After few days, my notification drawer isn't working anymore. Then, I noticed my notification light isn't working normally, and the charging port under the flap isn't working anymore (I just use my magnetic charger to charge it). I just don't know if these are results of a software problem since I noticed that it started after the most recent automatic update from you. As you can see, the problems seem to be like a domino effect, so I am thinking if this is just a software bug. I don't know if I already have to go to the repair shop since I am still thinking if this problem can be resolved by your next update. I really need you advice regarding this. I don't want to spend a lot of money for an unsure issue that may be repaired by an update. I also don't want to spend money to repair this and get the same issue after your next update. When will you release your next update?? I guess Sony should take care for their customers more, and they should really hear us. Or else, Sony will lose people who loved them. Think of it, Sony. These people searched and found this thread because they lovED their z3 compact devices. Why not give us concrete and permanent solution??

No repair center here.
I have to send it to Sony France, pay for the shipping, pay the repair (if it can be repaired) and pay the shipping back, and of course, it could take 3-4 weeks for each shipping with no breaking/robbery issue guarantee too...
So Easytouch works great! lol
And I wonder when I can afford a new phone, which one to take, as I can not trust Sony anymore for the moment.
Too bad, because the most important part for me is the camera, and the one on my Z3c is pretty good.

i am having a similar issue. i didnt remember when was my last update. i just suddenly didnt work. but my drag down menu wasnt working immediately after the last update. appreciate your help on this.

Drop down started working some weeks ago and I kind of accepted it.
Since this morning the back and home buttons don't work any longer (for the last week they were responding not correctly already and I had to use glove mode a lot) and I also think it is related to the latest update.
It is annoying, I have this phone only for 10 months now and it only causes problems. Service center is not an option for the next 5 months since I am in the jungle of Madagascar. Easy touch helps for now (thanks for that recommendation), but I really would wish the problem/bug would be solved.
It is a petty I really like this phone otherwise...
