Screen delay on received calls

Hi,

I just noticed that all my incoming calls have a delay before the screen lights up.

Anyone with this issue?

Thanks.

I'm afraid you are left ti make a software repair.
WARNING!! It will erase all of your internal data so make sure you make a full backup on your PC.

How long is the delay? If its around 1-3 seconds then its pretty normal.

And do you use any RAM Killers,Ram free or antivirus apps? Cause they might contribute for the delay too.

Hi.

I don't use any apps of that sort. I only use Nova Launcher Pro. It worked fine until yesterday.

I think it's more then 3 seconds.

Try booting to safe mode and see if it helps.

Hi,

I just did that and still the same issue.

Phone rings but the screen lights up after 10 seconds or so.

So before we do thw software repair lets try one last option,

Go to Settings > Apps > Press the Three Dots on the upper right corner and press "Reset App Preferences"

And next go back to Settings > Apps > Swipe to the left twice until you reach "All" section of apps > Locate and click "Phone" and press clear data

See if that solves it

That did the job.

Now i just need to figure out what app was the issue.

Any chance to reduce the size of the icons ?

Hahaha glad to hear that Grinning_Face

Yes,there's maybe an app or changes you did(or apps did) without noticing.Maybe you could investigate and share the apps that caused the delay?

Changing the icon size, umm i don't think thats possible(unless you are rooted and install custom icons,or use a launcher). But you could change the size of fonts, the smaller texts made the impression of the icon to appear smaller(for me) hahaha.
