Quick settings menu has disappeared

Hi everyone,

The drag down quick settings menu has disappeared from my Z3. Dragging down from the top with 2 fingers does not bring the menu down. Neither can I use the notifications at the top right to access the menu. However, I get to the sounds setting panel by using the volume button.

Tried this:
Settings > personalization > Quick settings

but I do not see Quick Settings option.

any suggestions pls? thank you

My droppped my phone and the screen was broken so I had it fixed.

I found that the Dragdown menu disappeared so I tried Factory reset, yet it's not back.

Please tell me what to do.

Hey! Just wanted to add my solution in case someone else has this problem:

Pull down from the top and tap on the pencil icon which opens the Edit menu for the quick settings. Tap the upper right icon (the 3 dots) and tap 'Reset'. All the icons you had in quick settings should be back.

Not sure how they got cleared but this fix worked for me!

This worked for me on Huawei android, year 2019, Android 7.0 ,

but firstly I had to drag at least one icon to the top as if I wanted to remove it from the quick menu, only then I was able to "reset" the icons, which ultimately fixed the problem.

There is a tab offering combined or separate, make sure it on combined otherwise your quick settings will dissapear.

I cldnt work it so I took it to the service center yesterday. the staff ran the diagnostic test and said the phone needed a LCD replacement.

Try this, Settings >> About Phone >> Diagnostics

Good luck

Had this problem on a Huawei, solved it by resetting the quick menu via the edit quick menu button
