hi,
i have a ps4 v2.0 and my xperia z3.
the playstation app work great and i can connect to psn but when i click on the remote play button, remote play app opening with this message : error 88001003.
I can't play on my z3...
any idea?

i have resolved my problem.
Before my z3, i had a z1 rooted.
I have transfered all my apps to the z3 in particular super su.
my z3 isn't rooted but super su was installed ! and it's him who caused the error 88001003.
i have desinstaled supersu and now remote play work great !

This will happen if you have rooted your device or unlocked the bootloader or simply modified it in some way
my phone is not rooted and the bootloader is locked.

I have the exact same problem. I'm using a z3 tablet compact (really nice) and when I use remote play I get error code 88001003.
I contacted the support that thommo (thanks) recommended and I got absolutely nowhere. I've posted the correspondence below. Maybe it's just me but I got the impression he didn't have a clue how to help, wasn't interested and couldn't wait to end the chat.

Scott: It may be the case you need to clear the cache and clear the data of the application.
Scott: To do this go to Settings>Apps>All>Name of app>Clear cache and clear data.

Oh, just to clarify, tablet is not rooted or bootloader unlocked.
Not rooted or unlocked, but I did have Superuser installed. Uninstalled this and Remote Play now works on my Z3.
