Since the latest major update to 69.2.A.2.30, I have been unable to skip tracks or pause music using the car stereo, on either Spotify or YouTube Music.

I have carried out all the suggested resolutions. This includes, factory reset and software repair through Xperia Companion, changing Bluetooth AVRCP values, hard restart, disabling Bluetooth and reenabling, starting in safe mode. Nothing works.

A fundamental error exists in this software, as the problem only started after this update.

Other phones work in my car (BMW 2018 F30, iDrive), including Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and iPhone 15 Plus.

Has anyone else had this problem recently? Have any workable solutions been found? The last message from Sony asked for a VAT receipt for my purchase of the device, so that is not a good sign.
