I bought a set of these and was thrilled with their performance/quality of sound having carried out much on-line research. However, just on 2 yrs after purchase, I am appalled at the battery discharge - from "battery fully charged" message to 45 mins later complete drain. This set has not been extensively used over the 2 yr period ...now out of the 1 yr warranty period and customer support leads to a repair procedure undeniably resulting in unknown significant costs. This is my first Sony purchase and will most definitely be my last - judging by number of similar fault comments on-line there exists a generic fault issue that is not being properly addressed by Sony. Appalling service/customer support and I can see why the product only carries a 1 yr warranty... probably an industry standard that allows the manufacturer to perpetuate inadequate QA/QC.
