Walkman NWZ-B183F - Shuffle Doesn't Shuffle

Hiya!

We bought the MP3 player mentioned in the title. The shuffle, no matter which song you start on, will return to the same set of songs once the first song is finished. The shuffle is very much broken.

There doesn't seem to be a firmware upgrade - we are on v1.00 and I can't find a download anywhere, or any program that will help me find one.

Can I assume there's no support for this model since it's pretty 'old' now (had it for 6 months) and has no updates?

Welcome to the Sony Community.

I've had a search and unfortunately I can't find any downloads for this particular model.  If you think there is an issue with the Shuffle, it might be worth taking the Walkman to a repair shop.
