I can't seem to find how to load and update podcasts onto my A55. Also to register it I need to find the product Nº but can't find it. Can anyone help. Thanks

Hi,

What do you want to register it for? I don't think you need the product number for registration, but you need the serial number. It is a 7 digits number on the back of the unit.

What operating system are you using for your PC?

Not on the back of mine, unless there is a way of removing it and checking inside. Either way l can't register it. My biggest problem is l cannot load music on it. I connect to Music Center but it doesn't show up on the PC.

I want to register it for warranty reasons. I am using Windows 10.

Well, the good news is that you don't need to register for the warranty (Unless you're trying to register an extended one), since the standard warranty is registered by default and your "contract" is the receipt.

As for the fact it doesn't show on the PC, that's pretty weird, try resetting it or using a different cable.

I had this problem too, I cant recall how it fixed but from memory it involved something really simple like unplugging everything from usb ports on my pc and then installing the NWA cable and waiting for it to create database, then it appeared in Device Manager too, under Portable Devices.

At the time I didnt have Music Centre for PC installed just WMP10.

Sorry I cant be more helpful, it was a real pain at the time 😞
