Mp3 Player NW-A105 - unidentified slot

Hi all

I have a Sony NW-A105 mp3 player  and cant figure out what the 2nd slot [next to the headphone jack] is.

Can someone confirm it is some kind of security/ chain system to attach the device, or  an antenna. 

Have looked in manuals and on search engine blah, but cannot find anything. - I deally i would like to attach  a chain so I dont lose the media player.

correct, the slot is there to thread the loop of a wristband or lanyard trough.
