Hi
I had recently bought vaio vgn-tt21xn and I have some questions:
1. battery time. Sony claims this notebook works up to 9h. After buying I made few full charge-full discharge cycles. When notebook is disconnected from power supply, windows shows estimated time little more than 8h. But after few minutes, estimated battery time is about 3h and it is real value. After ~3h of using laptop battery is almost empty, so I assume system correcly estimated power level. In my main work CPU, GPU and WiFi is not strongly loaded, only screen backlight is set to about 100% brightnest. Is my battery time normal, or something is to worry about?
2. screen blinking under windows XP. I made downgrade to WinXP, almost anything is working, but accidently I discovered that from time to time, lcd screen is turned off for very short time. There is only a "blink" simmilar when screen resolution is changed. I discovered when I turn off intel gpu option "dynamic refresh rate switching" this effect stops. Is it ok or something wrong?
3. win xp unknown device. Under WinXP I have one unknown device connected to ICH9M-E LPC interface controller. I guest it is TPM module, but where to find drivers?
4. win xp high definition audio driver. After installing almost all devices I have one audio device which have not drivers. I had tested kb835221 and kb888111 updates with no success. It is always error code 28, no driver available.
5. protector suite annoying. Fingerprint reader works ok, protector suite can login to windows using fingerprint, but
a) each time I start windows I get message baloon tip 'biometric is ready...'
b) each time I login to windows I need to enable 'sensor scrolling feature'
Is there any option to help, or maybe some older version (my is 5.6.2 build 4595) have fixed this issues.
PS Is there any search option in this forum?
