V3S - TV OPERATION

I have recently purchased the V3S and think it is great, but I have a question regarding the tv operation. When being used as a tv, is it ok to switch off the tv by the standby button on the remote - or do you need to go through the process of closing the programme, and then shutting down the pc in the normal way. I did try this and first time it was ok, second time it hung on pressing the standby button on the remote when switching back on from standby - so not sure if I am doing it right.

Also is there a simple way of going from tv mode back to desktop, ie closing Vaio Zone using the remote? I am currently having to close the tv down by the mouse

Sorry I got the model numbers the wrong way round.

Pressing standby on the remote is fine.

2nd question.

I think you just press application close twice on the remote

For 2nd question, Press the VAIO button on the remote control and the software will ask you either want to quit the Vaio Zone Software.. Then use the left and right selection to select to quit. Back to desktop. If you wan to use the VAIO zone, just press the VAIO button from your remote control.. simple.. hehe
