TV CHANNEL ORDER

I 've just set my VAIO VGC-V3S up, found the tv channels, but they don't line up! I mean BBC1 is something like channel 15 BBC2 ch 16 etc. How do I move them around so I can have them in the correct 1to5 order? Also is it possible to connect a Freeview set top box?

The V-Series only comes with Vaio Zone (except the V1)

You can rearrange the channels
Go to channel settings and Rearrange

They are almost the same. The Vaio zone has the feature like Windows Media Centre (Music, Picture, TV, CD/DVD).
It's just a different user interface to the Vaio Media.

Vaio Zone TV mode has the features like Giga Pocket. Vaio Zone TV looks more Professional, that's all I think.

Couple of things I like about the Giga Pocket;
1. You can view the recorded contents in Calendar view
2. Easy to move the recorded programs in Cabinets (Groups)

Yes you can, but it depends which freeview box you get ,or you have to buy additional converters etc.

Use the RF connection which you have on the VGC-V3

This one VTX-D800U will do the job. Will suit for your V3:smileygrin:

You can get it cheap from Comet Online http://www.comet.co.uk/comet/html/cache/140740.html

I am sure you can get other brands cheaper
(I like this design )

Cheers, everyone for the info, TV channels in Vaio Zone top left of the screen little sq nearest the middle click on that & you can move the channel around & name them. Sorted. Freeview I have been told I can use a settop box but need a scart / 2 RCA cable, to connect. So will try that.

One other thing, my lad has now managed to to set all the systems sounds to be managed by Sonicstage. How do i put them back where they should be?
