Soundkartenproblem

Möchte bei meinem Sony Vaio eine Creative Soundkarte einbauen. Habe jedoch mehrere Probleme. 1. Ich kann im BIOS meine bestehende Soundonboard karte nicht deaktivieren. Muß nun einen Jumper auf dem Motherboard deaktivieren. Weiß aber nicht wie das geht. Oder ist besser eine BIOS update durchzuführen.?? Wer kann mir helfen

I agree it is unusual not to be able to disable an integrated peripheral device in the BIOS. I have heard that sometimes they are automatically disabled if an expansion card of the same type is installed.

Have you already tried installing the second sound card?
