Sony Bluetooth Headset Hell

Any one got any ideas how to get bluetooth headsets working with my Sony Laptop, SP2, so as I can run skype with it
I have read a few forums on the subject and am none the wiser...
I think a dongle may be the answer...but from what I read Sonys are very difficult to cater for???
Any ideas out there????

Hi dude,
the situation is rather simple. That VAIO comes with XP SP2, so it means the bluetooth is managed by the Microsoft bluetooth stack. Unfortunately, this stack does not support the headset profile under bluetooth. What you may need is indeed a bluetooth dongle that will come with it's own bluetooth software and support a connection to a headset via bluetooth. I know Sitecom makes such devices, but probably other brands do too.
