problem with audio-driver

hi there!

i reinstalled my (1,5months old) vaio-notebook because the performance wasn't the best any more..

however i reinstalled windows, applications and of course drivers. now i have a problem with the audio driver. i can install it, but it seems like there would be no audio-device in my notebook?

in the device manager or in dxdiag there is no audiodevice.

idea anyone?

It may be that you need to install the UAA High Definition Audio Class driver before installing the audio drivers. Which model Vaio do you have?

Download the pre-installed drivers from Vaio-Link, install the UAA High Definition Audio Class driver first and then the audio drivers.
