fs series 215m -

hi there,

just wondering if anyone has had a problem with a bad connection on the headphone socket, (located at the front of the fs 215m). I bought a vaio again because my last one was amazing, and i've started to get a bad connection on my headphone socket, one channel cuts out frequently depending on the position of the lead. its not the lead as i've tested it on other things. Its very new, should i contact Sony about this?

If it's still under warranty then Sony is probably your best bet. If it's out of warranty then a tiny drop of contact cleaner may solve the problem (put the contact cleaner on the plug and insert/remove it a few times)
