PCV-RX1: Memory-Stick-Slot compatible with Memory-Stick-PRO?

I have a two years old Vaio PCV-RX1 and a few other devices from Sony (Clie UX 50, Cybershot DSC-F88). Now I want to buy a bigger Memory Stick (256 MB). I am sure that my Clie and my Cybershot are "Memory-Stick-Pro-Compatible". But I don't know this exactly for my Vaio. In my Vaio-manual I couldn't find any word about "Memory-Stick-Pro" but there are many comments about "Magic Gate".

Does anyone know If I can use a "Memory-Stick-Pro"?

Dont think that PRO was around when that machine was made so my guess would be that it wont work, there are some new Memory cards coming out (MG, now a dark blue colour) that i think are 256 dual 128 (has a switch to change banks) and 256.

I use The duo Memory Stick , very neat .... 256 in 2 parts swicthed and lockable. I also use the standerd 128 Sony memory stick ... At some point I would like The SONY 1 gig Pro stick ,
