PCG-SR1K Keeps Switching Itself Off

I've just inherited a Vaio PCG-SR1K from one of my clients, as they no longer needed it - however, it seems to have a mind of its own, as it keeps switching itself off very soon after turning the thing on - has anyone else seen this and know how to fix it? I've tried removing the battery and running just on the mains, but it still does it.

Check the fans are nto clogged.

Thanks for the suggestion - have checked, but no joy - guess that was the reason the client was glad to get rid of it, so it's now gone to that great Vaio graveyard in the sky!

Have a look in your Thompson Local, you can find some repairers, get some quotes.
