Hey guys,
i bought a vaio vgn-fs315e one week ago. Now i tried to play nhl 2006 on it. out of informations from the internet (ea sports and intel) the 3d-card should manage the game. But when i start it, comes only one message, which says that the 3d-card could not be initialised right and i have ti download and install the latest driver.
What can be the problem and how can i manage this?
thanks for help
check VAIO-Link for new driver Updates. If you can't find anything, then try http://www.omegadrivers.net
But do it at your own risk. You VAIO will run without warranty if you use this driver.
Did somebody ever heard something about "vesa drivers"?
i have NHL 2005 and it works fine on my fs115b try vaio link for an update
EDIT : lol. SEB was quicker
i' ve downloaded the latest driver from the intel page, but it made more problems, i can't replace the standarddriver from sony after installing the latest driver. the curious thing is, that age of empires 3 runs without any problems and it has higher sys-requirements.
if i would try a omega-driver, should i take a 3dfx or a nvidia? sry but never had a laptop before.
im not sure then sorry i can't help.
Sounds like you might well need the Omega Drivers from omegadrivers.net, but be warned Sony don't support them, and things can go wrong
I've looked for the system and i noticed that i have an intel gma 900 but in system > hardware is a driver installed for a intel gma 915gm/gms, 910gml express chipset family, is the driver the right? i cant find an other. ^^
