Hi there
Have you scanned your system with the Crucial scanner?
It does list the LT2S as having 2 slots and offers this upgrade: here
Some of us have used Crucial before - they have never let me down.
Hi,
A quick look at the sony website shows the following: http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/product/VGC-LT2S/specifications
Memory Memory Size (MB): 2048
Memory Speed (Mhz): 667
Memory Type: DDR2 - PC2-5300 (SO-DIMM)
Max. Supported Memory (MB): 4096
Based on this information, there is definatly at least 2 module slots on your computer, as a DDR2 Module can only support a maxiumum of 2GB each stick. I can't help with information on the placement, but I hope I have helped with the question of if there is a second slot.
A word of advice, make sure you get a DDR2 Module, as your computer can only take DDR2. Anything else simply wont fit and won't work.
Hi Handyman 180
If you lift up the memory module, you will probably find the
second bare memory slot underneath it, this is the usual
memory slot layout.
best regards
Brian
