If I want to buy 512MB of ram from ebay what spec do I need to look for?

For example, would this item work with my laptop, or is it the wrong speed etc?

They will be happy to help you and at least you get a warranty.

I am a great fan of Ebay but you are right you need to be 100% sure that the memory you are bidding on is the right memory.
