Hi,
Just bought a nice shiny new Vaio and am impressed with it apart from one major niggle I hope some of you can help with?
I am a DJ and really want to record my mixes directly onto my Vaio. To do this I need to use line-in recording from a phono source as my decks are not digital and do not support firewire. I have attached the line in lead to the microphone in expecting to be able to record line-in, but I only seem to be able to record through the 'mic' input. This is unacceptable as the mic input is balanced for voice recording and as such distorts and clips the sound. So, how do I record line-in sound? I can't see any other ports on the Vaio to insert the line in jack. How do I do this?? (PS: I bought this Vaio do record mixes, so I don't really want to take it back to the shop! )
Millsy:smileycry:
