Hard Drive Upgrade - A317S

I'd like to get some more internal memory for my A317S. Does anyone know if this is possible?
If not, can I move memory from my D drive to my C drive, and how do I do it!
Thanks in advance
Peter:smileyconfused:

Hi Peter.

Do you mean?
Physical memory (RAM)
Vitual Memory
Partition size (C & D drive)
Or as the title says a replacement larger HDD

Its probably just me but I am confused

Thanks for your reply. I mean Hard Disk Drive. I have 100gb at present but need more internal memory. If it is not possible to upgrade, I then need to move some from partitions.

You can upgrade your hard drive but notebook drives dont get much larger than 100gb, i have a 120gb in my A517S. Prehaps an external drive would be more logical:smileyconfused:

Thanks. Can you tell me how to move some memory between partitions. I have not much on C (which has program files, my docs, my music etc) and lots on D.

You could use Partition Magic, but I'd backup before using it as it can make errors

If your 'My Documents' folder is large you will free up some space by moving this to the D drive.

Right click either the desktop icon or the folder in Windows Explorer and select Properties > Move. Select the D drive as the location. This will move all folders and files and retain any shortcut links.
