CHARGE INDICATOR on a TX1XP

Hello there,

I've recently purhased this wonderfull
tiny lappy, but i 've notices something which might be nothing,
but could be also something:

In windowsXP, when i charge the laptop, the Chargin indicator
next to the clock reaches 100% but it never turns from "charging" to normal power plugged status. Whats goin
on really? does the battery keeps charging even if 100%? this
could result to a broken battery soon, or i dont have to worry
about this?
Btw, the hardware battery indicator of the laptop, stops flashing (charging that means), after the battery reaches 100% like it should be.

Thanks in advance,
jpat

Don't worry, this seems to be absolutly normal. Never seen it otherwise as long as the battery is attached to the laptop. And I don't think that every laptop I owned has been broken.
I like my TX1XP too! It's not my first VAIO, but the first where it's easy to remove the battery to lengthen its life when it's charged and I don't need it.

dont worry. I believe the battery indicator flashing stops flashing at 85% power, but it continues to charge.
