I would like to get some help with a weird problem i'm dealing with. My Sony Vaio VPCF12M1E doesn't boot from USB or DVD when i try to make a fresh windows install.
So let me start with the begining: a month ago my HDD crashed and i had to wait around 2 hours untill the laptop started so i have purchased a new one and here begins my problem. I created a bootable usb with a copy of an operating system, i have selected this to be the first booting device but each time i just receive a black screen with the following blinking sign " _ " or sometimes " j_ " . I want to say that i have tried also from DVD and the same thing is happening.
Please somebody help me because i have tried almost everything what i thought and nothing
