ATI control panel software on nvidia gfx card system
Ive just looked in the msconfig panel under startup and noticed that there are two ati startups loading , but i have a nvidia fx5200 card
the items in the startup are
Ati2mdxx.exe
and
atiptaxx.exe
After further looking ive realsied that it is the ATI control panel and by the looks of it it is installed on the system
my pc is the RZ422P
surely the ati control panel shouldnt be on there should it?
is so can i just unistall it?
thanks

Did you change graphics card?
If so, uninstall ATi Controll Pannel.

I think it's just to simplify the recovery (and in general the software-environment) procedure. Just think of the custizable models. All possible drivers included - no need to create more types of recovery CDs, etc. Mine (RZ424) has got the ATI-files also. I think you can disable them in msconfig, but I personally don't bother with them...
