716a locks up after a while

ive installed sp2 and noticed that the laptop locks up after a while.

I have updated everything using the vaio site, and no wireless connections.

Any idea as to whats causing it?
should i simply update the drivers such as the graphics drivers that nvidia have and not the one sony has??
maybe its a problem with vaio software?

I would check the event logger after the restart to see what's causing this issue.

You can find it in start > control panel > administritive tools

And the drivers from the NVidia site won't install on a mobility chipset (unless you modify the inf file ...... )
