Password protect - Sony Dongle not working?

I have the standard Sony Wifi dongle pluged into my Bravia USB port.  I password protected my wifi signal around the house recently. Prior to this everything was ok.  Gone through Wirless set up several times and I get a fail!. It appears the dongle is seeing my network but signal strength is not shown on screen.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong as I have entered my password into the set up. Grateful for some assistance.

Hi - Network passwords are case sensitive so make sure you are typing it in correctly. Have you tried also just taking off the network security temporarily and seeing if it connects without security  - then you can also update the firmware which may resolve the issue.

I disconnected the tv from the power supply and tried again after twenty minutes. Everything worked fine, it was that simple.
