Sound level and Bluetooth not working

Hi all, 

I purchased a few months back an HT-SF200 which is currently connected via HDMI into the Arc port of a KD-55XG8096 

however the sound is very low, have to crank up the sound bar to volume 60/100 just to have a level that we just about hear, also have tried to connect it to the TV and other devices by Bluetooth, the sound at can not be found by anything. Followed every instruction letter by letter and had friends even try.

help what is wrong!

How do you update the firmware on a sound bar? It’s not an IOT device.
