Connecting S-Video into new KDL-32CX523

I have just purchased the above HD TV, which I am very pleased with, but I would like to connect my old DAV S300 DVD and Surround sound system to it. I used to connect it to my old WEGA using the S-Video to Scart connection as it had a Scart which could handle S-Video.

The new TV doesn't have this, so if I use teh scart although the picture looks great, its in black & white, which means I've had to revert to the Composite, which isn't as nice obviously.

I've read the S-Video was analogue component splitting the picture into two, so is it possible to get an S-Video to component cable. Can't seem to find one and no point buying an expensive convertor box. I may as well by a new Bluray and AV receiver.

I also have a Sky+ box (not HD although will probably upgrade).

Any ideas how I can improve the picture quality for my DVDs

Cheers

DJ
