Factory settings

If i restart my SONY KDL-42W7050 TV that I bought it in 2014 in factory settings will it be able to load any of the

up-dates that where loaded on to it when it was fist switched on, the main reason is because most of my apps have disappeared and it's telling me to do this or will it make my TV useless to watch.

Hi greekgod123,

All the installed updates will remain on your TV.

But all your settings will be changed to factory defaults.
