PRS-T1: typing special characters

How can I type in special characters like ç (c with cedilla), á, é, õ (vowels with accents), ö (umlauts) and others?

Tried all of the languages and each language on the screen keyboard contains only regular English alphabet letters, even German, French and Spanish ones.

Will reply my own question.

When typing select wanted letter and hold it for a while and then you will be offered versions of it.
