PRS-T1 sync problem

Hi I am having problems syncing my PRS-T1 with the latest version of reader for PC. it recognises the reader starts to sync then stops after a few seconds and closes the programe. I have ADE installed and authorised.

Second problem (sorry) I cannot connect PRS-T1 to Wi Fi router which is an Orange Livebox D480. I can connect my Xbox/Kindle/Laptops/Wii etc.without any problem but not the reader.

I am using windows 7

Any solutions I would be grateful.

Is it possible for you to reset your reader to have it all refreshed? This may help in some cases.

Soft reset is the first port of call followed by a Hard reset if needed - but you will lose all content on the reader through this procedure, so back it up - although it sounds like nothing's on it !

Soft one is fine, won't harm the library should you have one.....

It's all in the manual, no great heroic work needed.
